    Description

    Our Director of Event Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of BioMedizone’s events, including workshops, conferences, networking events, educational sessions, and other activities. They oversee event timelines, logistics, team delegation, speakers and guests, communications, and cross-departmental coordination to ensure events are well-organized, engaging, accessible, and successfully executed.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Lead the planning and execution of BioMedizone workshops, conferences, networking events, educational sessions, and other initiatives
    • Develop detailed event plans outlining objectives, timelines, responsibilities, logistics, and required resources
    • Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, virtual platforms, registration, materials, technology, accessibility considerations, and other operational requirements
    • Identify and coordinate speakers, presenters, panelists, guests, moderators, and other participants
    • Work with the Marketing Team to coordinate event promotion, announcements, registration materials, and other promotional content
    • Collaborate with the Finance Team regarding event budgets, projected expenses, and financial requirements
    • Collect feedback from attendees, speakers, and team members following events to identify areas for improvement

    Requirements

    • Pursuing high school diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
    • Strong leadership and delegation skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate an Events Team
    • Comfortable coordinating projects across multiple departments and keeping team members informed of deadlines and responsibilities
    • Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing schedules, logistics, event materials, and participant information
    • Good time management and reliability with deadlines
    • Prior experience in event planning, student leadership, project coordination, volunteering, or communications is considered an asset but is not required
