Are you a dad whose child has received care at M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital? Your perspective is essential—and we want to hear from you!

Fathers bring unique insights, experiences, and strengths to the parenting journey. By sharing your experiences at Masonic, you help create a care environment that’s more inclusive, compassionate, and responsive to every family’s needs.

The only requirement is to be a patient or a family member/caregiver of a pediatric patient receiving care at M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital. We'll train you on everything you need to know to be successful.

What is PFAC?

PFAC is a volunteer group of parents and caregivers who partner with hospital staff to improve patient- and family-centered care. Members share their lived experiences, offer feedback on hospital initiatives, and help shape policies, programs, and services that impact families like yours.

Who We’re Looking For:

We welcome parents and caregivers from all backgrounds and experiences, especially those who represent:

• Racially and culturally diverse communities
• Families with children who have complex or chronic diagnoses
• LGBTQIA2S+ families
• Families whose primary language is not English

We especially encourage fathers and father figures to apply—your lived experience is vital to helping us improve care for all families.

Commitment:

• Term: 1 year (September 2025 - June 2026)
• Meetings: Monthly, second Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 PM (excluding July, August, and December)
• Location: Virtual, Meeting Held Online Via Microsoft Teams
