City of Refuge Baltimore is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make The Gathering 2026 a meaningful and welcoming evening for our guests.

The Gathering is City of Refuge Baltimore’s annual fundraising event, bringing together community partners, donors, supporters, and friends who believe in creating pathways from crisis to self-sufficiency for families across Baltimore.
Throughout the evening, guests will learn more about the impact of our work in areas including food access, workforce development, supportive housing, youth empowerment, and anti-trafficking initiatives.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are seeking volunteers to assist with areas such as:
- Event setup and preparation
- Guest registration and check-in
- Greeting and directing guests
- Table and guest assistance
- Event logistics and hospitality
- Supporting staff throughout the program
- Cleanup and breakdown following the event
Volunteers should be friendly, dependable, flexible, and comfortable interacting with guests in a professional event setting.
At City of Refuge Baltimore, our volunteers are affectionately known as Hope Dealers because they help us deliver Light, Hope, & Transformation to our neighbors and community.
