    Description

Speak Up for an Abused and Neglected Child

IN IOWA, OVER 4000 ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN NEED A VOICE!

As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteer you will become a voice for an abused and neglected child, who through no fault of their own, find themselves involved in the juvenile justice and child welfare systems.

Get to know a child, find out what their lives are like, what their needs are, who cares about them and for them, and then report your findings so that the Juvenile Court can make the best possible decisions for each child. Every child deserves a safe, permanent home where they can live and thrive. Please help ensure this happens for each one.

Make an impact in a child's life, in your community and in your own life, by volunteering as a CASA. Training and support staff is provided. Approx. 5-10 hours/month.

This program serves Woodbury, Plymouth and Monona County.
