Hospice Volunteer Opportunity
Looking for a meaningful way to spend your free time? Hospice volunteers bring comfort, companionship, and human connection to patients during an important stage of life.
Volunteers may help with companionship visits, talking, listening, playing games, sharing music, or simply sitting quietly with someone who doesn’t want to be alone. Volunteers can also help with Veteran Pinning Ceremonies, honoring patients who served in the military.
Volunteers choose their assignments and set a schedule that works for them.
Volunteer Requirements:
Applicants must complete a Kansas background check and provide their Social Security number for processing.
If you plan to drive as part of volunteering, you must provide a valid driver’s license and auto insurance with your name listed on the policy.
Training and support are provided and our team will guide you along the way.
