The Games Data Entry Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of Special Olympics Montana local area competitions by ensuring accurate and timely data entry for athlete participation. This includes entering practice scores, organizing athletes into fair and competitive divisions, and generating essential reports and heat sheets for Area Spring Games and moving on to state-level competitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input local team members into each Area Games event created in the database annuallly.
- Assist in creating fair & balanced divisions for events based on age, skill level, practice performance and gender (when applicable).
- Generate and distribute reports and heat sheets for Area Spring Games.
- Ensure data accuracy for use in state-level competitions and historical records.
Experience, Training & Support:
- Previous experience with data entry or event management systems is a plus.
- Ongoing training and support provided by the SOMT Sports department and the local area management team.
- This is a volunteer, non-paid position.
