    Description

Are you creative, community-minded, and looking to build hands-on experience in non-profit development? We are seeking an enthusiastic Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to help us design and execute creative campaigns, community outreach, and donor engagement initiatives.

In this role, you will play a vital part in helping us brainstorm new ways to raise awareness and financial support for our mission. It is a fantastic opportunity to build a strong portfolio in marketing, event planning, and non-profit fundraising while working alongside a supportive team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Campaign Brainstorming: Assist in planning and developing creative fundraising campaigns, virtual events, or peer-to-peer giving initiatives.
    • Donor Engagement: Help draft engaging communications, thank-you notes, and outreach materials for our supporters and community partners.
    • Social Media & Outreach: Collaborate on creating campaign copy, digital assets, or messaging to spread awareness across social channels.
    • Tracking & Organization: Help maintain a clean database or tracking system for donor interactions, campaign milestones, and outreach progress.

    What You Will Gain (Benefits)

    • Portfolio Building: Add real-world non-profit marketing and fundraising achievements to your resume and professional portfolio.
    • Mentorship & Collaboration: Work directly with our leadership team, receiving guidance, feedback, and networking opportunities.
    • Skill Development: Gain practical experience in campaign strategy, public relations, and donor relations.
    • Flexibility: Remote work environment with a flexible schedule designed to accommodate students or early-career professionals.

    Qualifications

    • Strong creative thinking and a passion for community building or non-profit work.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
    • Background or strong interest in Marketing, Communications, Business, Non-Profit Management, or related fields (previous fundraising experience is a plus, but not required—we are excited to train and mentor the right candidate!).
