    About Mentor A Promise

Mentor A Promise (MAP) is a New York City–based nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth experiencing housing instability through mentorship, education, and community. Our work centers dignity, equity, and accountability—creating pathways to stability, opportunity, and hope for young people and their families.

Responsible financial stewardship is essential to sustaining our mission and ensuring transparency, compliance, and organizational integrity.

    About the Role:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented specialist to manage the organization’s central repository of policies, SOPs, forms, and official documents. You’ll ensure all divisions submit documents correctly, maintain version control, and keep the repository accurate, organized, and audit-ready.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collect and upload policies, SOPs, forms, and other official documents from all divisions.
    • Assign document IDs, versions, and maintain metadata.
    • Update and archive documents, keeping historical records intact.
    • Maintain the Policy, SOP, Forms, and Workflow Register and ensure compliance with naming and filing standards.
    • Coordinate with department heads to track approvals, reviews, and revisions.

    Qualifications:

    • 2-3 years of experience
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Experience with document management systems Google Workspace & Google Forms (Required)
    • Familiarity with version control and metadata.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments.
