    Description

    Check-In Host - Food Pantry

    Be the welcoming face of UCOM’s food pantry! Volunteers serve one consistent weekly shift (Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–12:30 PM).

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet and check in guests using an iPad or clipboard
    • Communicate family size and grocery details to pantry volunteers
    • Answer questions about appointments and available services

    Ideal Volunteer:

    • Friendly and comfortable engaging with people from all backgrounds
    • Reliable and able to stand for up to 3 hours outdoors in Florida weather

    Perfect for someone who enjoys hospitality and helping neighbors feel valued from the moment they arrive.
