    Online Zoom Classroom Moderator

    about this opportunity

    We are looking for 4-8 volunteers to work between 4 and 8 hours each per week to support the Business Pathways Department virtual classrooms. MCRC is improving the way that participants access our trainings, workshops & classes by opening virtual classrooms for all their core offering classes. This means that individuals interested in attending/taking a class through MCRC, are no longer required to attend in person. Participants can now choose to attend classes 100% virtually.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Serve as classroom moderator for Business Pathways Classes.
    • Open & Close Breakout rooms as necessary.
    • Enable & Close polls as necessary.
    • Keep track of questions & comments in classroom chat.
    • Familiarize yourself with class content (basic).
    • Share presentations & classroom materials virtually

    Two-time responsibilities:

    • Attend virtual Meet & Greet with BP Team in December and January
    • Participate of MCRC facilitated training/individual session with assigned BP Team Member.

    Skills/Qualifications Needed:

    • Knowledge of Zoom application (breakout rooms, polls, admitting participants, etc),
    • Spanish/Bilingual (4 people)
    • Comfortable interacting with online & in-person participants during Zoom Session
    • Typing
    • Reliable access to the internet.

    REQUIRED: Maintain confidentiality of participant information.
