    Description

    Do you love cars and people? Volunteer at the Auto Museum!

    The California Auto Museum needs volunteers for a variety of opportunities including:

    Gallery Attendants: a welcoming, front-line presence who protects the exhibits, ensures visitor safety, and enforces Museum policies. Key responsibilities include monitoring exhibits to prevent damage, assisting guests with directions or information, and supporting special events. They ensure an engaging, secure, and positive experience for all visitors.

    Organization: Helping to organize various areas around the Museum

    Data Entry: upkeep our of mailing list, exhibitor and artifact information

    Painting/Landscaping: suitable for your group or individual volunteers

    Projects: As needed - Could include Free Museum Day, Car Cruise and other special events as they arise, or could be a regular shift to help paint, move cars, help with exhibits, etc.

    Shifts:

    • Gallery Attendant: any day except Tuesday from 10am-5pm
    • Other roles: Every Tuesday 9am-5pm (Museum is closed, so it's our Project Day!)
    • Projects: specific dates for events - please inquire
