    Description

    Creative Arts & Music Day Camp Instructors needed

    The Creative Arts & Music department at The Salvation Army is hosting a week-long Summer Art Camp for students. Volunteers with artistic talents are invited to share their skills and passion with small groups of students. The camp will run from June 22nd to June 26th, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 12:15 PM. Volunteer Opportunity: Choose an art medium you'd like to teach. Select the age group and class size you are comfortable with. Create your own agenda or follow one provided. Materials will be purchased for you, and snacks will be provided. An art exhibit for parents will be held on Friday from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM. Requirements: All volunteers must complete The Salvation Army's volunteer process, including a background check, interview, reference check, and the completion of The Salvation Army’s Child Safety course 'Protect the Mission' (PTM). Unfortunately, volunteers unable to fulfill these requirements will not be considered for this position.
