    Description

    3 volunteering hours will be rewarded for this task. Research the relationship between intimate partner violence (IPV), employment, and economic independence in Colombia and create an Instagram post about it. Explore the prevalence and different forms of IPV in Colombia, and examine the specific barriers survivors may face when seeking employment or working toward financial independence. Research Colombian government programs, nonprofit organizations, community initiatives, survivor-support services, and other resources available to individuals experiencing IPV. The post should also explore how employment opportunities, financial literacy, and access to economic resources can contribute to greater stability, choice, and independence for survivors. Volunteers will turn their research into an Instagram carousel post (6-7 slides) on Canva, for which we will provide a template.
