Patient Outreach & Quality Improvement Volunteer

As a volunteer with our Quality Assurance and Improvement team, you'll help patients stay connected to important preventive care while supporting projects that improve the quality of care we provide every day.

In This Role, You Will:

• Make reminder and follow-up calls to patients for a variety of preventive care appointments.
• Encourage patients to complete recommended appointments.
• Review records and reports to help ensure healthcare data is accurate.
• Support quality improvement projects that enhance patient outcomes.
• Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

This Opportunity May Be a Great Fit If You:

• Are interested or have a background in healthcare, public health, quality improvement, or healthcare administration.
• Enjoy helping others and communicating with people by phone.
• Have strong attention to detail and a professional, confidential mindset.
• Are comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
• Speak both English and Spanish (preferred but not required).

Commitment

• Minimum 3-month commitment
• Commit to two 4-hour volunteer shifts per week
  • Volunteer shifts are available weekdays from 9:00am - 1:00pm or 1:00pm - 5:00pm
• On-site in our Novato administrative offices
• Training provided, no prior experience required

Volunteers must pass a background check and meet health screening and immunization requirements prior to starting.
