Description
Not all heroes wear scrubs. Sometimes they simply sit, listen and care. Sometimes the most powerful gift you can give is simply your presence. Freedom Hospice is looking for compassionate volunteers to support patients and families receiving hospice care. As a hospice volunteer, you can provide comfort, companionship and dignity during life's most meaningful moments.
Ways you can help:
- Sit and visit with patients
- Read listen or share conversation
- Capture the unique story of patients
- Help with small office tasks
- Share special skills like music, crafts, pet therapy, etc.
Why volunteer with hospice?
Because no one should face the end of life alone. Your time and kindness can bring peace, connection and comfort to someone who truly needs it.
- Flexible scheduling
- Free on-line training provided
- No medical experience required - just a caring heart.
If you are ready to make a difference that truly matters, we'd love to hear from you. To apply, complete our on-line application found at https://www.volgistics.com/appform/898610724
