Not all heroes wear capes—some just hold hands.

Description
If you’re a veteran or a family member of one, you understand the weight of service, sacrifice, and standing by someone through their toughest moments. Now, you have the chance to bring that same strength and compassion to those nearing the end of life.
As a hospice volunteer, you’ll:
- Sit with patients and listen to their life stories—many of whom are veterans themselves.
- Offer companionship, encouragement, and a calming presence during their final days.
- Be a friend when it matters most, simply by showing up and holding space.
No medical experience is needed—just a kind heart, a listening ear, and a willingness to be there.
This is a unique opportunity to continue serving, to honor lives well-lived, and to make a lasting impact—one visit at a time.
