We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact, which drives us to expand our reach continually and enrich the lives of those we serve.

    Position Overview

The Technology Project Manager will coordinate and oversee technology projects across the organization, ensuring that initiatives are planned effectively, delivered on schedule, and aligned with organizational priorities.

This role will serve as a central coordination point for technology teams, helping manage project timelines, organize tasks, track progress, communicate with stakeholders, and resolve project-related challenges. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can bring structure, accountability, and collaboration to a remote, cross-functional environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project management professional to apply their expertise while supporting a nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to arts and music education.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
    • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate projects involving IT operations, application development, digital platforms, cybersecurity, and system integrations.
    • Timeline and Task Management: Track project progress, assign and coordinate tasks, monitor deadlines, and address delays or dependencies.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular project updates, facilitate meetings, and maintain clear communication between technical teams and leadership.
    • Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks, resolve project blockers, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues when necessary.
    • Project Documentation: Maintain project plans, status reports, workflows, meeting notes, and other relevant documentation.
    • Process Improvement: Develop standardized project management processes, templates, reporting practices, and workflows.
    • Agile Project Support: Support Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management approaches, including sprint planning and progress reviews where appropriate.
    • Resource Coordination: Help teams prioritize work, coordinate responsibilities, and manage competing project demands.
    • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project outcomes, capture lessons learned, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and delivery quality.
