Blood Donor Ambassador – Help Save Lives at Local Blood Drives
Be the friendly face that guides donors, supports lifesaving blood drives, and makes a real impact in your community.
Blood drives rely on volunteers to ensure every donor has a safe, smooth, and welcoming experience. As a Blood Donor Ambassador, you’ll assist with registration, appointment flow, refreshments, and overall donor support—helping to make every donation life-saving.
What Volunteers Do
- Greet and register blood donors
- Maintain appointment flow and monitor donor reactions
- Assist at the canteen (refreshments) and donor check-out
- Remind donors of future appointments and assist with registrations
- Provide excellent customer service and a positive experience for all donors
Requirements
- Age 16+
- Willingness and ability to complete training shifts and two or more blood drive shifts per month for at least three months
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs throughout the blood drive
- Background check, orientation, and valid driver’s license required
Time Commitment
- A few hours per month
- Weekday and weekend shifts (daytime)
- Recurring opportunities based on availability
