    Description

    Summary

    As a member of the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House team, the Administrative Volunteer supporting our Student Leadership Board will support the coordination, communication, and administration of the Student Leadership Board program. This role will help keep student members organized, engaged, and informed throughout the year while supporting meetings, service projects, fundraisers, collection drives, and the end-of-year celebration.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support communication with Student Leadership Board members and families, including reminders, updates, and follow-up emails
    • Assist with planning and preparing for Student Leadership Board meetings
    • Track student participation, attendance, service hours, and project progress
    • Help organize student-led fundraisers, collection drives, and service activities
    • Support communication with schools, parents, and community partners as needed
    • Assist with preparing meeting materials, agendas, recaps, and student resources
    • Help collect and organize student reflections, photos, quotes, and impact stories
    • Support planning for the end-of-year recognition event or celebration
    • Assist with administrative tasks related to the program, including filing, data entry, and organizing documents
    • Support the RMH Pasadena team with other volunteer engagement projects as needed

    Education, Experience, and Qualifications

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Comfortable communicating with students, parents, and school contacts
    • Interest in youth leadership, volunteer engagement, nonprofit work, or community service
    • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva, or email platforms preferred
    • Experience working with students or youth programs a plus
    • Working toward a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or related certificate preferred
    • Willingness to learn and support a growing program
    • Familiarity with the Pasadena area is a plus
