    Description

    Coach Youth Soccer in Boston!

Volunteer with Soccer Unity Project – Spring 2026

Soccer Unity Project is a Boston-based nonprofit that reimagines the power of soccer to build community, connect people from diverse backgrounds, and promote equity in youth play. Each year, we provide free soccer programming to over 1,400 youth across the city, creating spaces where young people can play, grow, and belong.

This spring, we’re looking for passionate, reliable volunteers to join us on the field and help bring our programs to life!

    What You’ll Do

As a volunteer, you will support youth soccer clinics by:

    • Assisting coaches with fun, skill-building activities and small-sided games
    • Encouraging players and helping create a positive, inclusive environment
    • Building relationships with youth and serving as a mentor and role model
    • For adaptive programs (TOPSoccer), being paired 1:1 with a player as their “buddy,” supporting them throughout the session

No prior soccer or coaching experience is required. Just energy, reliability, and a willingness to engage with kids.

    Why Volunteer?

By volunteering with SUP, you are helping remove barriers to play and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to experience the joy of soccer, regardless of background or ability. You’ll gain leadership experience, build meaningful connections, and be part of a mission-driven community working to make sports more equitable.
