Description
The Public Relations Committee shall oversee the preparation and distribution of news releases regarding the club’s activities and educational programs. The committee shall also promote opportunities for participation in Toastmasters learning programs and manage all internal club publications. Remote participants are responsible for managing the club’s social media accounts (X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and the website blog. They create content such as graphics, videos, shorts, and flyers to showcase communication and leadership tips, promote the club, and support event sign-ups. Posts should be published monthly based on the club schedule.
Our basic requirements for committee members are to be at least 8 years old, volunteer based on your own availability, communicate with us regularly, and be passionate about what you are doing. The term for club committee members runs from July to July each year. Applications are open year-round, but all terms conclude in July. For example, if you onboard in March, your term will end in July of the same year.
After onboarding, you will be assigned a specific task as a committee member. Please check your email regularly after submitting your application, as we will contact you soon.
