    Description

    Are you a veteran who is passionate about working with veteran seniors?

    The Care Team is a hospice and home health organization looking for companionship volunteers who are veterans to spend time with our veteran patients!

    The purpose of our We Honor Veterans (WHV) program is to identify veteran patients; recognize and honor them for their service; and provide veteran-centric care and support.

    We also invite you to share your hobbies/interests through activities with them, such as arts & crafts, books, music, etc. Our veteran patients simply need someone they can relate to who is willing to listen, encourage and spend time with them.

    NOTE: Companionship volunteers do not perform direct patient care.
