Description
Summary of Position: The Kits for Kids program volunteer will work alongside the Director of Kits Programs to manage the Kits for Kids inventory and preparation for events. Kits for Kids at Project CURE are medical kits containing basic first aid and hygiene products geared towards children. The warehouse volunteer will help inventory and order supplies, conduct quality assurance on completed kits, and prepare event items for Kits for Kids events. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, self-motivation, and professionalism. Ability to lift 20 lbs. and stand for 3 hours is required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage kits’ supplies inventory and procure.
- Order supplies as necessary.
- Prepare inventory and event supplies for Kits for Kids events.
- Ensure all incoming kits are quality checked, inventoried, and prepared for shipping.
- Follow warehouse safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable standing for multiple hours and lifting 20lbs.
- Basic knowledge of computer and email technology.
- Willingness and ability to train volunteers.
- Attention to detail is essential.
