Pet Therapists Needed for Hospice (Adams/Cumberland/Dauphin/Perry Counties)

Seeking Volunteer Pet Therapists to Bring Comfort and Joy to Hospice Patients

Are you passionate about providing comfort and companionship to those in need? Do you have a certified therapy animal that brings smiles and peace wherever they go? We at [Hospice Company Name] are searching for Volunteer Pet Therapists to join our team and help enhance the quality of life for our hospice patients.

As a Volunteer Pet Therapist, you and your certified therapy animal will visit patients, offering moments of joy, connection, and calm during challenging times. Pet therapy has been proven to reduce stress, alleviate feelings of loneliness, and bring immeasurable comfort to individuals and their families.

    What we’re looking for:

    • Certified therapy animals (dogs, cats, or other suitable therapy pets) and their handlers.
    • A compassionate spirit and a willingness to brighten someone’s day.
    • Availability to visit patients at our hospice facilities or their homes.

    Why join us:

    • Provide a profound sense of peace and connection to patients and families.
    • Make a meaningful impact in the lives of those receiving end-of-life care.
    • Be part of a caring, supportive team dedicated to providing comfort and hope.

Volunteer Pet Therapy is a powerful way to lend a paw (and a hand!) and make a difference. If you and your therapy animal are ready to share love and comfort, we would love to hear from you.

Comprehensive training and orientation, background check and TB testing is required and are provided free of charge.
