    Description

    Board Member

Now going into our 29th year bringing the joy of writing and performing to Chicago Public School students, we are looking to expand our board! At the moment, our members have professional affiliations in finance, publishing, social work, performance, and tech, among others. We typically meet every other month as a full board and alternating months in our subcommittees, both via zoom. Because we meet remotely, Chicago residency isn't a requirement (we have one member in another state and one in another country)-- but we're looking for folks who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the literacy advocacy work we do in the city.
