    Description

    Volunteer Children's Library Assistant

If you love children, books, and working as a team member, consider becoming an Assistant Library Volunteer. We are a public elementary school in North Philadelphia with an open and running library since 2019. We are looking for people who are willing to work 2-6 hours per week on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday morning during the school year (September until late April.) William Cramp Elementary School serves approximately 450 Pre-K through 5th grades. Cramp is a community school with a stable staff, a family-like atmosphere, and a focus on literacy. Specific work will be determined by your interests (re-shelving; computer work; reading aloud; helping students find a book to check out, decorating the library,etc.).
