    Description

    Native Plant Garden Volunteer

Our organization maintains the Edmonds Wildlife Habitat & Native Plant Demonstration Garden, located at 95 Pine Street in Edmonds. Established in 2010, the purpose of the garden is to showcase how we can use native plants in our yards and community spaces and still have them be just as beautiful as traditional landscaping that uses non-native, ornamental plants.

We have work parties throughout the year to plant, weed, and maintain the garden. These work parties are typically on weekends for a few hours. For volunteers very interested in the future of the garden, we'd love to speak with you about a leadership role within the garden team.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Enjoys working outdoors in a natural garden setting, rain or shine
    • Passion for birds and the mission of Pilchuck Audubon
    • Enjoys interacting with other nature enthusiasts
