    Some of the greatest gifts we can offer to a hospice patient are comfort, peace, and compassionate presence.

    Our Comfort Care Volunteer Program is seeking caring individuals with specialized skills who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients facing a life-limiting illness. Whether through gentle touch, calming music, the companionship of a therapy animal, or guided relaxation, your time and talents can provide comfort when it is needed most.

    We are currently seeking volunteers with experience in:

    Licensed Massage Therapists

    Provide gentle comfort-focused massage, as appropriate, to help patients relax and experience greater physical comfort.

    Reiki Practitioners

    Offer gentle energy-based relaxation sessions that may promote a sense of peace and well-being.

    Music Therapists or Musicians

    Share soothing live music that can reduce anxiety, encourage meaningful memories, and create moments of connection for patients and families.

    Pet Therapy Teams

    Certified therapy animal teams bring joy, companionship, and emotional comfort through friendly visits.

    Aromatherapy Volunteers

    Provide calming aromatherapy experiences using hospice-approved practices to encourage relaxation and comfort.
