    Description

    The Volunteer Marketing Assistant supports our marketing and communications efforts by helping create engaging newsletters and press releases. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, storytelling, and amplifying mission-driven work.

    Responsibilities:

    • Draft, edit, and format newsletters and press releases
    • Gather content from staff and programs to highlight impact and updates
    • Ensure messaging aligns with brand voice and mission
    • Assist with distribution and tracking of engagement when needed

    Qualifications:

    • Strong written communication skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
    • Interest in nonprofit marketing and communications

    Experience with email platforms or media outreach is a plus
