Crime Strategies Forensic Analyst

The Crime Strategies Forensic Analyst, under the direction of the Director of Intelligence and Crime Strategies as well as the Office of the District Attorney, will be responsible for performing basic forensic analysis on mobile devices linked to homicide, SVU, and OCU cases. They will then create reports in preparation for presentation in court on pending cases. They will also create reports used by the District Attorney and Chiefs for making decisions that directly affect our office. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and familiar with MS Word and other basic Microsoft Programs. Confidentiality with all case information is required and an important part of this specialized area of work.

This position does require a 6 month commitment with at least 8 hours per week. Scheduling is fairly flexible within the hours of 8:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday.
