    Description

    Volunteers Needed – Paddles for Purpose Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser

    Elder Care Services is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our Paddles for Purpose Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser, an event that directly helps us care for vulnerable seniors in our community. Your time and support will help provide nutritious meals for home-bound seniors, social connection for isolated older adults, personalized care for frail seniors, and emergency assistance for those in crisis.

    Event Details

    Date: Saturday, February 21, 2026

    Time: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Check-in at 11:00 AM)

    Volunteer Check-In: 11:00 AM

    Location: Tom Brown Park – Pickleball Courts

    Event Overview

    • Players: ~50 participants
    • Skill Levels: Beginner (2.0–2.9), Intermediate (3.0–3.8), Advanced (3.8+)
    • Awards: Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners
    • Registration Fees: $100 per team | $50 per individual

    Volunteer Roles May Include

    • Check-in and registration support
    • Court monitoring and scorekeeping
    • Event setup and breakdown
    • Assisting players and spectators
    • Hospitality and information table support
