    Program Mentor/Facilitator

Mentors play a hands-on role in guiding and supporting Glam Girl participants (ages 9–16). They help facilitate activities, encourage personal growth, and build strong, trusting relationships with girls in the program. Mentors serve as positive role models and walk alongside participants as they discover their confidence, purpose, and voice.

    • Direct interaction with program mentees.
    • Responsible for mentoring and facilitating group workshops.
    • Must be passionate about inspiring young girls.
    • Must have a welcoming/warm/bubbly personality.
    • Must be willing to facilitate based on Glam U expectations and values.

    Program & Administrative Support

Provides assistance with various tasks such as data entry, scheduling, communications, and organizing program materials. This role ensures that day-to-day operations of Glam U and the Glam Girl Program stay organized and efficient.

    • Assist facilitators during workshops (set up, pass out materials, help with small groups).
    • Provide one-on-one support for girls who may need extra encouragement.
    • Support with cleanup and transitions between activities.
    • Manage snack distribution during sessions.
    • Create a welcoming environment by helping with check-in and greeting families.
    • Assist with sign-in sheets, registration paperwork, and collecting forms.
    • Help with parent communication (reminder calls/texts, flyers).
    • Take pictures and short videos during sessions.
    • Other tasks as assigned

    Outreach/Recruitment Support

This role helps build strong community connections, raise awareness of our mission, and ensure the program is supported with people and resources. Including but not limited to:

    • Representing Glam U at community events/etc.
    • Assisting with recruiting/onboarding new volunteers, mentors, and participants
    • Assisting with identifying new partnerships (schools/community organizations/etc.)
