PineWood Community Food Distribution

Join our partners at Health in the Hood for our monthly food distribution serving the Pinewood Community. We will be handing out fresh produce and pantry staples.

Volunteering means stepping into a vital support effort; every box lifted and every interaction provides not just food, but dignity, care, and community connection. Expect hands-on work: unloading, setting up, distributing items, and clean-up. It’s fast-paced, physical, and deeply rewarding.

What will volunteers do?

Activities include:

• Set-up: tents, tables, unpacking boxes
• Food & essentials distribution
• Clean-up and breakdown of supplies

What will volunteers need to bring or wear?

Closed-Toe Shoes are required. Wear weather-appropriate clothing, bring water, and sunscreen. Volunteer shirts are provided
