    Description

    Adult volunteers needed to play with children who are hospitalized at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, weeknight evenings 6-8 pm.

    Seeking friendly, outgoing volunteers who are self-starters, comfortable with interacting with children from babies to older teens. Volunteers play games, do crafts and other activities with children who are patients in the hospital.

    Must be at least 19 years old and willing to supervise 1-2 high school aged volunteers.

    Volunteers must commit to at least 6 hours per month for at least one full year. Volunteer candidates must complete an application that includes: interview with the Volunteer Office, criminal background check, personal references, immunization records and TB testing.

    1 shift available:

    • weekend hours also available: 10 am - 12 noon, 1-3 pm, 3-5 pm: 18:00 to 20:00 EST
