    Position Overview

    The Student Liaison Director serves as the central coordinator of student engagement activities, ensuring participation is well-organized, professional, and aligned with program priorities. In this leadership volunteer role, you will manage communication, logistics, preparation, and documentation related to student involvement in Cougs 4 Kids programming. You will help create positive experiences for students and youth alike while upholding strong standards for privacy, safety, and organizational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Recruit, train, and support a small team focused on student engagement logistics.
    • Coordinate all aspects of student involvement across programs, both virtual and in-person.
    • Prepare participants with clear expectations, guidance, and support for their roles.
    • Maintain strong communication with volunteers, staff, and partners to facilitate seamless participation.
    • Oversee documentation and adherence to privacy and consent practices.
    • Collect and review post-event feedback to strengthen future engagement.

    Qualifications

    • Organized and experienced in coordination, documentation, and volunteer leadership.
    • Professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
    • Comfortable using common productivity tools such as shared calendars, email, and online meeting platforms.
    • Committed to inclusive practices and respectful engagement.

    Time Commitment

    This role involves ongoing planning and coordination, with increased activity leading up to and during key program periods.

    Volunteer Requirements

    • Background check and any required training.
    • Ability to commit to the role for the duration of the program cycle.
