Description
The Dream Factory of Brooklyn, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Board Secretary. This pivotal role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the community and eager to contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all board meetings, including minutes, agendas, and other relevant documents.
- Facilitate communication between the board, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in the planning and execution of board meetings and board events.
- Collaborate with other board members to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Oversee and manage relevant documentation and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit a high level of professionalism.
- Experience in administrative roles or similar positions is preferred.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for document management and communication.
Requirements:
- Must undergo a comprehensive background check.
- Financial solvency is required to ensure unbiased decision-making and dedication to the organization's mission.
- Must be a resident of the United States and would like to live in NY
Commitment:
