    Description

    Summer Eats Program Volunteer

    • Seeking 1-2 volunteers for Copley Square Farmers Market to administer the Summer Eats Program.
    • Summer Eats is a nationwide program that provides free meals to youth 18 and under during the months of July and August.
    • Copley Square Farmers market will be a meal site, featuring pre-prepared meals, games, and activities.

    Perfect for: people who love kids and have experience, whether formal or not, leading children in activities such as casual sports and board games

    Responsibilities:

    • During the market:
    • Set up Summer Eats tent, table, and banner
    • Pass meals out to children in attendance
    • Keep track of meals administered for program reporting

    Outside of Market:

    • attend mandatory training with Market Manager before program launch
