Your role isn't just about serving food; it’s about providing a warm, dignified, and welcoming environment for every guest who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Meal Preparation: Assist the kitchen staff with basic food prep (preparing meals, assembling sandwiches, or plating desserts).
- Dining Service: Serve hot meals to children, families and individuals staying at our shelter, as well as from the outside community.
- Dining Area Maintenance: Help keep the dining room clean and inviting by wiping down tables, refilling condiment stations, and clearing trays.
- Clean-up: Support the "behind-the-scenes" team with dishwashing, sweeping, and ensuring the kitchen meets health and safety standards after service.
Volunteers are needed 365 days a year 3:00PM - 7:00PM.
Volunteers must be 17 years of age or older.
