    Beacon Hospice is seeking Pen Pal Volunteers to exchange letters, cards, or notes with hospice patients who enjoy written connection. This unique volunteer role offers companionship, encouragement, and meaningful human connection—often from the comfort of your own home.

    💙 What Does a Hospice Pen Pal Volunteer Do?

    Pen Pal Volunteers provide support by:

      • Writing friendly letters, notes, or cards to hospice patients
      • Sharing simple stories, reflections, or thoughtful messages
      • Offering companionship and emotional connection through written words
      • Helping reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness
      • Bringing comfort, joy, and a sense of being remembered

    All correspondence is coordinated through Beacon Hospice to ensure privacy, safety, and patient preference.

    No hospice or medical experience is required.

    Pen Pal volunteer opportunities are available through Beacon Hospice. Participation is remote, with supplies coordinated by the hospice volunteer team.
