    Mother's Day Angel Blessing Bags

🌷 Volunteer Opportunity: Mother’s Day Angels Blessing Bags Event

Soup Angels Outreach Program – Dallas, TX

    Event Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026Time: 1:00–3:00 p.m.Location: Chef Irvin’s House — 6919 Lindsley Ave, Dallas, TX 75223

    šŸ’ About the Opportunity

Join Soup Angels for a joyful, hands‑on community event as we assemble 100+ Mother’s Day Blessing Bags and prepare 400 homestyle chicken plates for mothers, grandmothers, families, seniors, and unhoused neighbors across Dallas. This gathering honors the strength and resilience of the women in our community while ensuring every neighbor — male or female — receives care with dignity.

This year, we’re thrilled to welcome Lakewood Art Lab as a community partner. Their young artists are creating heartfelt, hand‑drawn Mother’s Day encouragement cards that will be tucked into each Blessing Bag — a beautiful, uplifting touch that will mean so much to the women receiving them.

Whether you bring donated items or simply bring your time and heart, you’ll be helping us prepare hope, nourishment, and kindness for our neighbors.

    🧺 Volunteer Responsibilities

Volunteers will support a variety of hands‑on tasks, including:

    • Assembling Mother’s Day Blessing Bags with essential and comfort items

    • Assisting with setup, cleanup, and flow of the event
    • Optional: Joining Chef Gary for a ride‑along outreach from 3:00–3:30 p.m. to distribute the first 100 Blessing Bags
