    About Girls Who Brunch Tour

    Girls Who Brunch Tour is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering, educating, and inspiring girls ages 9–18 through leadership development, emotional wellness, and confidence-building programming. Through conferences, workshops, and community engagement, GWBT has impacted over 50,000 girls nationally and internationally.

    Role Overview

    The Social Media Coordinator Volunteer supports the Girls Who Brunch Tour by managing and maintaining the organization’s social media presence. This role is ideal for a creative, organized individual who is passionate about youth empowerment, storytelling, and digital engagement.

    The Social Media Coordinator plays a key role in amplifying GWBT’s mission, promoting events and initiatives, and building an engaged online community.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and schedule content across GWBT social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and others as assigned)
    • Create and post engaging content, including graphics, captions, reels, stories, and event promotions
    • Support promotion of conferences, volunteer opportunities, campaigns, and community initiatives
    • Monitor comments and messages, responding or flagging inquiries as appropriate
    • Collaborate with the GWBT leadership team to align content with branding and messaging
    • Track basic engagement metrics and provide monthly insights or highlights
    • Assist with live posting and content sharing during events when needed

    Qualifications

    • Experience managing social media platforms for a brand, organization, or personal project
    • Strong written communication skills and a good understanding of social media trends
    • Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools preferred
    • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
    • Passion for youth empowerment, nonprofit work, and community impact
