    Description

    Are you a finance or accounting professional with a passion for community service? Do you relish the opportunity to be a strategist and build leadership skills while improving food security, public health, and the environment? FOUA is seeking a dedicated volunteer treasurer to join our Board of Directors.

    This pivotal role involves providing financial oversight and guidance, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and helping to sustain the organization’s financial health. As a voting member of the board, you will work closely with board members and our volunteer bookkeeper to develop and implement financial policies and procedures that align with FOUA’s mission and values. If you possess strong communication skills and a deep understanding of financial management, we invite you to make a meaningful impact by joining our team.

    Per FOUA bylaws, board members must either live or work in Arlington County.
