Caring Hospice Volunteers for Carson City, Minden and Gardnerville

Infinity Hospice Care is seeking volunteers to provide companionship to patients with a life-limiting illness and their families. IHC offers a comprehensive training program to provide education on end-of-life issues, as well as a flexible schedule to meet your availability, with no minimum time requirements. Volunteers must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen. IHC will cover the cost of a mandatory TB test, as well.

Our volunteers are the heart of hospice! Spending quality time with patients and their families -- talking about their lives, reading, doing light house work, or providing respite for the caregiver -- makes a huge difference to those we are privileged to serve. Licensed professionals (hair stylists, therapy dog handlers, massage therapists, etc.) who wish to volunteer their services are welcome. Also seniors, veterans, college students - anyone with the time and desire to make a difference! -- are encouraged to apply.
