Description
Jester Artspace is a nonprofit community arts organization based in North Wilmington, whose mission is to engage, inspire, and connect our community through the arts. Located in the adaptively repurposed and historic Jester Farmhouse, it is a resource for local artists of all disciplines and skill levels, and for those interested in the arts. Jester offers programs and classes across a variety of media, exhibitions featuring local artists, and serves as an artist meeting, working, and gallery space.
Jester is currently looking for volunteers interested in either supporting special events, coordinating or leading them. Prior experience is not required, though helpful! Volunteering opportunities could include:
- Coordination of or serving as a volunteer at special events like festivals, member events, and exhibitions
- Collaborating with the Marketing Committee on promotion of events
- Coordinating vendors or volunteers at special events
- Volunteering in the gallery during ongoing exhibitions' public hours
- Offering event management expertise and developing event strategy
