Overview of Position: The Program Committee is a group of people with experience and/or interest in program planning and evaluation that helps advise TIHAN’s staff and board of directors. Committee members support TIHAN’s programs and services by reviewing and assessing our effectiveness and helping ensure that we are offering programs that are needed, well-run, and effective.
Benefits to the Volunteer: Volunteers serving on the Program Committee share their expertise in program planning and evaluation, serving as part of a diverse team of people working to continuously assess and improve the important programs and services offered by TIHAN to help people with HIV to live well.
Specific Tasks:
Time Required: Up to 5 hours per month, including a monthly meeting and additional time as needed/available for review and materials and work done between meetings
Qualifications/Experiences:
Preferred: Previous experience or interest in serving on a non-profit board or committee, and
experience or interest in nonprofit program planning or evaluation.
