    Volunteers may choose from three shifts: Setup (1:00 PM–3:00 PM), Check-In (6:00 PM–8:00 PM), or Event Support (6:30 PM–11:00 PM). Event support includes auction runners, checkout assistance, ushers, floaters, and event breakdown.

    Description

    Bridge Breast Network is seeking volunteers to assist with our Annual Gala, an evening dedicated to raising funds and awareness to support breast cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship services for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured individuals across North Texas.

    This event brings together community members, partners, and supporters to help ensure individuals facing breast cancer receive life-saving care and compassionate support. Volunteers play a key role in helping the evening run smoothly and ensuring guests have a welcoming and enjoyable experience.

    Volunteer responsibilities may include:

    • Assisting with event setup and preparation
    • Supporting guest check-in and registration
    • Helping guide guests to their tables or event areas
    • Assisting with silent and live auction support
    • Helping distribute auction items during checkout
    • Serving as floaters to assist staff where needed
    • Assisting with event breakdown and cleanup

    Available volunteer shifts:

    Setup Shift (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM)

    Volunteers will assist with preparing the venue, setting up event materials, arranging registration areas, and organizing auction displays.

    Check-In Shift (6:00 PM – 8:00 PM)

    Volunteers will welcome guests, assist with registration and check-in, distribute event materials or bid numbers, and direct guests upon arrival.

    Event Support Shift (6:30 PM – 11:00 PM)

    Volunteers will assist with auction runners, checkout support, ushering guests, floating support roles, and helping with event breakdown after the program concludes.

    Qualifications:

    • Friendly, reliable, and professional
    • Comfortable interacting with guests and staff
    • Able to stand or walk for periods of time
    • Willing to assist in a fast-paced event environment

    Volunteering at the gala helps Bridge Breast Network continue providing life-saving breast health services to individuals across North Texas.

    Parking is available at the venue. Volunteers should enter through the main event entrance and follow Bridge Breast Network signage to the volunteer check-in area.

    Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled shift to allow time for volunteer check-in and instructions.

    Additional details including parking information and event logistics will be shared with registered volunteers prior to the event.

    Interested volunteers should submit their interest through Idealist. Registered volunteers will receive additional event information, parking instructions, and shift assignments prior to the event.

    Volunteers should plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early for check-in and orientation.
