Patient Visitors needed for Hospice Patients *Flexible Scheduling!*

Volunteers are an important part of the hospice care team. As a Patient Visitor, volunteers will visit patients in a private residence or facility to provide companionship, socialization, emotional support, engagement in activities, or a supportive presence. Volunteers can share a skill such as playing an instrument, singing songs, completing crafts, helping patients catalog photos, document their life stories for their loved ones, or simply provide a quiet and reassuring presence. The role may include support of the patient's care giver or family through active listening, empathy, and compassion.
