Social Work Internships (BSW and MSW Students)

Social Work students will gain valuable experience while providing terminally ill patients, and their families with psychological, and social support the guidance of a Hospice Compassus MSW field instructor. The students will serve as members of the Hospice Compassus interdisciplinary patient care teams while assisting patients and families in accessing community resources, and governmental situations. The students also will help patients, and families identify grief issues, and provide bereavement services.

Hospice MSW student interns must be enrolled in either a BSW or MSW Social Work programs at an accredited college or university. The Social work student interns must attend new volunteer training before starting your internship.

The coverage areas Hospice Compassus provides support are Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery Counties.
