What will you do?

As a Volunteer Activation Team Member, you’ll help new and existing members find their place within Volt Europa. You will:

• Welcome and guide members who want to become active at the European level.
• Present available teams and help each person find the best fit based on their skills and interests.
• Coordinate with national onboarding teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
• Integrate volunteers into their chosen European-level teams.
• Manage and update forms, vacancies, and resources to keep recruitment pipelines organized and accessible.

What skills do you need to excel in this role?

Research shows that (oftentimes) female candidates only apply when they meet 100% of the requirements, while male candidates do so when they meet just 60%. We explicitly encourage everyone to apply: you don’t have to tick every box to apply. We also consider your potential and motivation!

• People skills: You enjoy connecting with others, making them feel welcome, and helping them find where they can best contribute.
• Organisational skills: You can keep track of volunteers, forms, and tasks across different teams and tools without losing focus.
• Communication: You communicate clearly and kindly, both in writing and in calls or chats, with volunteers from many backgrounds and countries.
• Collaboration: You’re approachable, a good listener, and comfortable working with teams at both European and national levels.
• Proactivity: You take initiative, follow up when needed, and spot opportunities to improve how volunteers are activated and integrated.
• Adaptability: You’re flexible and comfortable in a fast-changing, fully remote volunteer environment.

• You must be currently a member of Volt Europa to be considered for the position.
