A hospice volunteer is an individual trained by Brighton Hospice to provide assistance to patients, their families, and their hospice team. No prior medical experience is required.

Brighton Hospice is seeking volunteers to provide companionship to our hospice patients. Join us in bringing comfort and peace to those facing end of life. Become a regular visitor and a supportive companion to a patient and help make their days brighter. Activities may include playing games, watching TV or movies, listening to music, converse, or just lend an ear as they share stories from their life.

Our patients are located throughout the Denver metro area including Lakewood at various care communities and in private homes. We will match and introduce you to a patient in your area.

Our onboarding process includes comprehensive hospice education and training. We also require a background check, drug screening, and tuberculosis test.
